The Hangar
Located at the Innovation Park Development behind Rochester airport ‘The Hangar’ is our New Shopping Experience Store, combining fashion-forward retail with a heart for recycling and upcycling. Supporters will be able to shop with purpose and style knowing that they will be making sustainable shopping choices as well as supporting an amazing local charity. Our teams have been working hard behind the scenes to prepare the space for its opening early October!
The space is currently being transformed to offer a unique shopping experience. The Hangar will be more than a store—it's a community hub and in phase two (coming next year) we plan to be able to offer unique services like personal styling, alterations, creative workshops, and eco-friendly initiatives. The community to be at the heart of this space.
The fashion industry has woken up to the environmental issues that have been created and there are some great initiatives out there from mainstream retailers, however supporting a charity directly is the best way to support the environment by donating and also shopping second hand! Excitingly, we will be launching our upcycled clothing range at The Hangar named ‘The Edit.’ This will be a totally unique department made from items that would have previously just been recycled elsewhere. Offering the opportunity for items to have another lease of life and for our customers to be able to have a one of its kind unique piece is exciting.

Firstly, to create and sustain an incredible space we need Volunteers! If you can spare the time, why not join our team and be part of this exciting project that merges fashion, creativity, and community support. Your time and skills can make a significant difference! Donate:
Keep an eye out on our socials for details on how and when you can donate to The Hangar! We know how frustrating it can be to donate to some places so The Hangar will provide an easy drop off solution. No point driving around with those bags in the boot any longer, just pull up and drop off.
Shop:
Come in and shop! We will have a variety of things from clothing, homeware, toys, books, media and some smaller pieces of furniture. Our aim is to provide a shopping experience like no other all raising funds for your local adult Hospice.
