Talking about hospices can be challenging, but the need for our services is greater than ever in our local community. With an increasingly ageing population and more individuals living with life-limiting illnesses, your support is crucial in helping us provide the care they deserve.
As the charity supporting The Wisdom Hospice, we rely on the generosity of individuals, local businesses and community groups to raise over £2,500 each day to make a contribution towards the care offered by the hospice. Your contributions also help to fund the little extras that enhance the patients' quality of life.

Your donation, no matter the amount, truly makes a difference:
£10 could help fund a book and craft activity to use during a child’s listening support session who has a parent under Hospice Care.
£25 could help fund an hour of care delivered by one of the hospice specialist palliative care nurses.
£50 could help fund a counselling session for a patient or their loved one, supporting them through a challenging time.
£75 could help fund a home visit with a specialist nurse or physiotherapist.
£100 could help fund a lockbox to keep a syringe driver safe and secure when it is being used by a patient.
Your support means everything to us, whether it's through organising your own fundraising event or making a direct donation. Together, we can ensure that every patient receives the care and comfort they deserve.

Gift Aid
If you are a tax-payer, don't forget to Gift Aid your donation using the form when you make payment, as we are able to reclaim the tax that you have already paid on your donation. For every £1 you donate, we're able to reclaim 25p from HM Revenue & Customs, at no additional cost to you. Every little helps!

Shop with Wisdom!
Wisdom Hospice Shops gives supporters a sustainable and ethical way in which they can support their local Hospice by donating pre-loved items. Every day our High Street shops and online outlets are able to raise vital funds which help support the running costs of the Wisdom Hospice. The Hospice, which is based in Rochester Kent, serves the communities for adult palliative care for Medway and Swale. This is a Free service for all in their time of need.
Did you know that our shops combined sell nearly 100,000 items each year that may well have gone to landfill! Half of this amount is clothing items! We also recycle any unsaleable items.
Don’t waste, donate!
If you have a large donation of pre-loved items that you wish to donate, i.e. a carload, we ask that you contact your nearest shop to arrange a convenient drop off time.
