The Richard Watts Charity Support our Nurses

The Friends are very grateful to the Trustees of The Richard Watts Charity who have, for a second year, awarded a grant to support nurse training for another five of the Wisdom Hospice nurses. The training introduces the nurses to the knowledge and practice of a complete physical health assessment for their patients enabling the nurse to undertake and manage not only the holistic examination but the advance physical examination as well.

One nurse commented “the course will enable me to prevent our patients from unnecessary admissions to hospitals and ensure that the right care can be provided in the place of their choice”
