Basshat ForJ - Round 2!!!

We were so excited when the Basshat Boys first launched their ForJ Campaign, in the memory of Scott’s Mum Jenny, who passed away under the care of the Wisdom Hospice in 2014, they hit it off with a charity football match; with Nathan’s Team the Cash Allstars coming out victorious. Now they have just finished round 2, a Basketball match. We’re not confident if anyone knew the rules, but Scott’s team took it home with a win for the Creedence Revivals. They have done fantastic this time around and raised £2,656.06! That makes £5,528.24 in total! We are super proud of them and shall let them have a year off – Scott is getting married after all!

“Firstly, I’d like to say how proud we are again of how a community can come together to put on such an amazing event. Everyone involved worked extremely hard and the support was bigger and better than last time. The last ForJ event was a fresh wound and was done in loving memory. This time round we wanted to celebrate those that we’d all lost and those who are still with us all fighting together to beat cancer. Every time we bring people together we learn more about their stories and why they support us and the Hospice. This is what a fundraiser is really about! Secondly I’m so happy I won” - Scott Cowden BassHat Creative

The final score was:-

Creedence Revivals 43

Cash Allstars 22
