Colour Me Purple 2016 - Even bigger, even brighter!

The Friends returned to Milton Creek Country Park on Sunday 17th April 2016 for Colour Me Purple 2016. 

The day was such a fantastic success and with over 625 runners we have achieved our goal of making this year's event even bigger and bright than last year.

We would like to wish a huge thank you to all of our volunteers who gave up their time to marshal the route, run our registration and generally for making the day possible! 

In addition we would like to thank Swale Borough Council, Snap Fitness Sittingbourne & Knauf for running our colour stations on the day and for being brilliant sponsors of the event. Also our thanks go to Morrisons, Sheppey, SFM - 100% Local Radio for Sittingbourne, Patriotic Pig & Yazoo drinks for all their help both before & on the day itself. 

Last of all thank you to all of our brilliant runners who all braved a storm of multicoloured paint to raise vital money for the Hospice care provided by the Wisdom! You truly are super supporters and we look forward to seeing you all again for next year's event! 

As of yet we are still waiting to receive all sponsorship money, so we cannot give a final total raised for the day. Keep you eyes peeled as once we have a final figure we will be sure to communicate it via our social media channels.
